Practical information

As an exchange student at the University of Gothenburg you can get help and support with a variety of practical and academic issues. For example, you can get advice on where to get help looking for accommodation, registering for Swedish courses or finding the many programmes for exchange students, such as our Welcome & Introduction Programme and our Student Buddy Programme. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions about practical issues.

Applying for our non-academic services

In the data base application form, you apply for studies and the following non-academic services:

• Student Buddy Programme
• Swedish courses for exchange student
   

Please note that you cannot apply for these services after you have submitted your application!

To apply for accommodation, follow the link in the application form.
Please note that you need to submit this application separately, yet at the same time as your ordinary application.

If you are a Nordplus student, you should contact your Nordplus coordinator at the University of Gothenburg to get an application form for housing.

Pick-up service

On Arrival Day, January 18th, 2012, we offer pick-up from the airports. It is a good idea to arrive on this day since then you get picked up from the airport and you are able to pick up your keys and move into your student room. Last pick-up from either airport is at 8 pm.
