How do I apply?

All applications for exchange studies shall be submitted electronically via the MoveOn database. To find out more about host universities and the application process, check the information on your Faculty’s website. Read more here.

Please complete your application carefully. Supplementary documentation may be required in certain cases. For example, certain universities may give priority to certain students.

Exchange with certain non-European universities

There are special instructions for exchanges through University-wide agreements.

Application deadline

The entire University has one application deadline per year: 1 February. This application deadline is for both the following autumn and/or the following spring (the spring of the following school year).
Please note that students from the Faculty of Fine, Applied and Performing Arts must apply via MoveOn and submit a portfolio separately. Contact your Department’s international coordinator for more information.
