The Erasmus placement programme gives you, as a student of the University of Gothenburg, the opportunity to apply for a placement grant for a work placement in Europe (outside of Sweden). You can do your placement at a company, an organisation as well as a centre for education and research. See Guidelines for more detailed information.
To be eligible for an Erasmus placement grant, you must:
Applications are handled on a first-come-first-served basis. The placement must be no less than 3 months (not even one day less) and no more than 6 months and can take place anytime of the year. Grants are awarded to all eligible applicants as long as there are funds left.
Please note that students who have studied for at least one year at the University of Gothenburg and who intend to complete their degree at the University of Gothenburg are given priority in the selection process. Please also note that the University of Gothenburg is only granting students for a maximum of six months to make sure that as many students as possible can take part in the programme.

NEWS 2011/2012: Swedish public employers and international offices at foreign universities are now included in the Erasmus programme. The programme has also opened for placements in Switzerland and Croatia.
